Effective, Homemade Mouthwash Against Bleeding Gums

Bleeding gums after brushing your teeth is very common. Often the gums are also swollen, sometimes you get the feeling that your teeth are a bit loose. How does this happen?

Effective mouthwash against bleeding gums
1. Mouthwash with baking soda
This mouthwash is very effective because baking soda has excellent properties:

- relieves discomfort and pain from inflammation or itching.
You only need half a glass of water by dissolving a teaspoon of baking soda. Briefly put the mixture in the refrigerator so that it is pleasantly fresh and then works even better against inflammation.
Rinse your mouth thoroughly with the baking soda so that the inside and outside of the gums are treated. Then spit it out, the water should not be swallowed.
The ideal is to repeat the treatment 3 times a day after eating. This remedy is very effective!
2. Salt and ginger mouthwash for bleeding gums
The water made from salt and ginger has remarkable benefits. It’s an easy way to heal inflammation as well as get rid of tooth bacteria. This mouthwash is used against bleeding gums as follows:
- Make an infusion from half a glass of water and a little grated ginger (approx. 1 tablespoon).
- As soon as the water boils, add a tablespoon of salt. Let it cool down and then put it in the fridge.
- This mouthwash is then also used cold. It reduces and heals the inflammation.
- Rinse your mouth thoroughly. Spit it out afterwards, do not drink it!
- Then use the water 3 times a day.
3. Mint mouthwash
Do you know mouthwash with mint used to treat bleeding gums? Sometimes we spend money on things that we can then just do at home. We recommend the following recipe:
Mint is great for treating infections as well as inflammation. Please note the following steps:
- Boil 5 fresh mint leaves in half a glass of water for at least 15 minutes.
- Let cool a little and then put in the fridge for 5 minutes.
- Then rinse your mouth thoroughly with it.
- Remember to repeat this procedure 3 times a day, after each meal.
4. Mouthwash with aloe vera
According to experts, aloe vera is the best remedy for treating bleeding gums, as well as gingivitis. The aloe vera is a wonderful remedy for treating inflammation as well as infections. This is how the mouthwash is prepared:
- Cut off an aloe leaf and then remove the clear gel.
- Rub the gel directly onto the gums with gentle massages so that it is then absorbed.
- Then brush your teeth. It’s that simple.
Choose the mouthwash that works best for you – all recipes are very effective and useful if you use them consistently. Do not forget about proper oral hygiene ! The mouthwash is then normally used after the main meals.
