We recommend doing this treatment for four days. That is enough to lose weight and rid the body of pollutants.

How is the pineapple detox done?

This 4-day diet plan  consists of eating pineapple at all meals of the day in addition to other low-calorie foods. 

A maximum of 400 g of animal, low-fat protein is combined with various types of vegetables and pineapple.

day 1

  • Breakfast: Start the day with two organic pineapple slices. You ca n’t replace this with canned pineapple! You can also eat a whole grain toast slice with low-sugar jam.
  • Lunch: Eat two pineapple slices with 200 g of seared tuna, which is marinated with a little olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Dinner: With the two pineapple slices you eat 200 g chicken breast fillet, briefly seared, and a green salad with olive oil and vinegar.

It is advisable to prepare a pineapple tea from the rest of the peel. If you crave to eat during the day, you can drink this tea.

day 2

  • Breakfast: Two pineapple slices with a wholemeal bread roll with low-fat cheese spread.
  • Lunch: A seared fillet of beef with salt and pepper and a tablespoon of olive oil. There are two pineapple slices for dessert.
  • Dinner: Prepare a light vegetable soup made from celery, asparagus and artichokes. Finally there are again two pineapple slices.

Day 3 and 4

  • On the third and fourth day you repeat the menu from day 1 and 2.

    If you follow this detox without sin, you can lose anywhere  from 2 to 4 pounds in four days.  However, you will need to wait at least two months after this before repeating the diet.

    As very few calories are consumed on this diet, it can lead  to cravings, general malaise and lack of energy.

    People who suffer from diabetes, high blood pressure or kidney problems are not allowed to follow this diet!

    Some of the active ingredients in pineapple  can interact with other chemicals found in various drugs  and cause side effects. If you are taking any medication, you should consult your doctor before starting the detox.

    Since the pineapple is high in acid and bromelain, it  can cause small aphthae or ulcers in the mouth  and tongue.
