We know that all routine takes time. That is why it sometimes happens that work and household have priority.
However, there are many ways in which you can do a little bit of good for your body.
Your daily routine
The basis for any physical change rests on four large pillars. Motivation, training, nutrition and relaxation.
To get a good workout, you need motivation. It is necessary for you to pull yourself up and start exercising at the home gym .
In a professional studio there are lots of devices and elements that offer you optimal training. Running machines, bicycles, weights or multifunctional devices help you to move.
But you can also build your own gym at home. It just takes a little time and you have to come up with a plan that you stick to. First we should set a goal, it could be weight loss or muscle gain.
You don’t need to be an athlete to train your body a little and to build up your stamina. For example, you can start with a cardiovascular exercise like jogging or cycling outdoors. It doesn’t matter what you choose, your body will thank you with well-being.
It’s actually quite easy to set up a gym at home. You can use some items that you already have around the house to do this. Here are some tips for setting up your own gym at home and exercising a little every day.
Elements you can use to create your own home gym
1. Yoga or sleeping mat
The yoga or sleeping mat is a very useful item for exercising at home. You can use it to do muscle building exercises and yoga. It is best to buy a comfortable, non-slip mat to avoid accidents.
A mat makes it easier for you to do bending, abdominal training, and lying down exercises. So you can strengthen your stomach, back and legs.
It is really necessary for the home gym. It is also important to have a surface to do the exercises and not lie down directly on the floor.
Even when you are at home, you can still hurt yourself if you push your body beyond its limits. The sleeping mat plays a major role here.
2. Choose a spacious place
At home, you can choose a place, such as the living room or bedroom, where you have some space to do your workout. If there are tables or chairs in the way, move them out of the way so you don’t bump them later.
Your home gym is your personal place, which is why you should set it up in your own way to enjoy your workout more. Just don’t let the TV or cell phone distract you while exercising.
3. Homemade weights
To train your arms, you can make yourself weights, because we need them for fitness. Lifting weights will help you develop your biceps, triceps, and chest muscles.
There are several ways to make weights yourself:
- Fill two medium-sized water bottles with sand. This makes the bottles heavy. You can also connect them together with a stick or staff.
- You can also fill two cans with sand or cement and then connect them with a stick to make your weights. The weight will then become heavier, but it will help you build up your stamina and get strong arms.
4. Bench or chair
At home we have a bench or a small chair. They are ideal for performing various exercises that require support.
One can, for example, push-ups make and support their hands on the chair. This is good for the arm muscles !
Stepping exercises, the popular climbing stairs, are also possible with a chair. This immediately strengthens legs and calves. You only climb up with one leg first and then the other. When you’re up, go back down and then repeat the movement.
Try it! These simple items will help you set up your own home gym. Then you have no more excuses and can do something good for yourself and your body every day!
