It is important that you are well informed about the nutritional values ​​of this delicious dish. This will then contribute to the fact that you will cook it more often.

Each serving has around 400 calories,  200 of which are from fats. The serving contains 22 g of fats, 13 g of which are saturated fats. Another 35 g are carbohydrates.

As we mentioned at the beginning, the ingredients are readily available and you might already have everything in your pantry. To prepare this dish you will need:

  • 1 cup of raw spaghetti, cut into 5 cm pieces (80 g)
  • A bag of frozen broccoli with three cheeses (750 g)
  • ¼ cup of milk (62 ml)
  • 1 cup cooked diced ham (200 g)
  • 2 cups of Alfredo sauce (500 ml)
  • 4 spoons of red pepper (60 g)
  • 1 spoonful of grated Parmesan cheese (20 g)

preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 ºC.
  2. Then cook the spaghetti as directed on the package.
  3. Next, prepare the frozen broccoli as the manufacturer claims.
  4. Now mix the cooked broccoli, ham, milk, Alfredo sauce and peppers in a large ovenproof dish.
  5. Now add the cooked spaghetti. Then gently stir the whole thing and cover it.
  6. In the following, you bake the dish for 35 minutes. Finally, remove the lid and sprinkle the dish with parmesan cheese.

Some pointers

In this recipe for baked broccoli and ham, we used frozen broccoli with a three-cheese sauce, as this sauce gives the broccoli a creamy consistency. You can get them at the supermarket or your favorite store.

But of course you can also replace the frozen broccoli with fresh ones. The only thing that changes is the cooking time, because you then have to prepare the three-cheese sauce yourself.

This traditional dish is often made with spaghetti and chicken or turkey meat. Today we presented a variation with ham, but of course you could also use turkey or chicken ham instead of pork ham.
